 Managed provisions of onshore survey, positioning and related GIS services for SEPCiN onshore ventures by sourcing and developing local and regional contracting resources in keeping with NCD directives and other steers.  Ensured compliance of standards of HSSE performance for onshore survey operations by implementing and enforcing requirements of HSSE management System and EPCiN HSSE policies.  Improved knowledge base and skills in onshore operations and technology by coaching new recruits, probationers and project surveyors, and providing technical support, advice and steers to other EPG Opcos.  Made optimal use of collaboration opportunities by developing and maintaining business contacts with internal and external parties.  Ensured compliance with national, regional and Global Standards by encouraging technical excellence and value assurance within the onshore and Geomatics skill pools.  Managed service contracts and budgets for provision of onshore surveys, engineering, environmental and land seismic survey services and related GIS support.  Undertake internal and external benchmarking activities to optimize ongoing and future activities, while seeking advice when required from the survey SME and PTE. Senior Surveyor Onshore Operations, 2006-2008  Ensured compliance with established guidelines and procedures by overseeing survey services support to area teams, geophysical data acquisition, and other teams in the Western Division of SPDC.  Provided leadership in planning and management of HSSE and staff security in all phase of the team’s operations by complying with SPDC policies, and maintaining and updating survey operations processes and procedures in line with best practices.  Managed all business transactions through SAP - actively seeking opportunities to reduce costs and optimize output.  Maintained Geomatics operations by contributing to the development and implementation of the Geomatics annual HSSE plan, maintaining business contacts with clients, contractors and executives, and executing service acceptance (technical) for all Geomatics onshore operations services.  Managed all contracts in line with CMG and the deployment of available contractual resources as Contract Holder for corporate field survey services.  Planned and executed all spatial data acquisition (survey) projects in the respective SPDC Asset area in line with established technical specifications, HSSE guidelines and procedures.  Provided positioning and mapping support for emergency response activities, online Survey QA/QC services for all engineering construction projects, and geodetic advice to clients.  Maintained EP18 processes knowledge by updating work instructions and standards for land survey activities.  Established and maintained business contacts with clients and contractors at executive level, assessed and reported contractor’s performance quarterly, and planned survey services work orders to Contractors in SAP.  Served as Company Site Representative for all survey related contracts, maintained and updated the Onshore survey operations hazard register in compliance with CMG, and delivered weekly and monthly project reports for activities.  Led desktop preliminary investigative study of all facilities projects’ sites using available technology (Remote Sensing & GIS) before deployment of contractor to site.  Produced project-specific Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) Plan and carried out pre-mobilization audits and HSSE audits as scheduled in the Geomatics annual HSSE plan.  Managed multi-million dollar digital and analogue map assets of SPDC, and contributed to exploration, development and production by providing competitive cartographic and map reproduction activities in SPDC/SCiN.  Supported business processes by ensuring competent cartographers and fit-for-purpose contracts are available for provision of Computer Aided Draughting (CAD) and digital mapping services.  Managed CAD team’s contracting and budgets and liaise with various internal and external parties such as government, universities and contractors.  Maintained efficiency by ensuring maps are produced to meets global standards and correctly geo-referenced.  Supervised and performed QA of positioning and navigation data during seismic data acquisition campaigns, and conducted QC and QA of both land and offshore seismic operations.  Supported planning of new seismic campaigns by providing maps, positioning data and survey controls.  Ensured survey personnel, equipment and correct methodologies are applied during seismic line/point setting out and surveys.
