Daily Duties at Tetra Tech:

Collect sediment, seawater, fish, benthic invertebrates, and plankton in the Gulf of Thailand in order to determine effects from oil and gas operations. Conduct quality assurance analyses on laboratory data reports and use statistical analyses to evaluate data. Maintain databases for sediment, seawater, fish, benthic invertebrates, and plankton (1997-2015). Produce environmental monitoring and environmental impact assessment reports and technical documents, with over 100 documents submitted to date. Process samples at a local environmental toxicology and chemistry laboratory. Calculate population densities from web and transect data using the program DISTANCE. Manage projects and supervise environmental scientists.
