Daily Duties at Fed Ex Ground:
• Worked with Senior Leaders to drive process improvement and change initiatives • Prepared weekly, monthly, quarterly status reports for leadership and led team status meetings • Promoted safety and safe work habits • Identified areas to improve operations in order to achieve or exceed key performance indicators and targets • Reported on KPI performance to meet contractual agreements between the independent contractors and the Fed Ex Ground. • Trained all new contractors and drivers on proper methods for delivering and scanning • Responsible for on-time service of all packages and ensured all pick-ups and deliveries were made on-time • Oversaw a continuing program of training and cross training of employees, counseled and trained employees as necessary to improve work performance, and recommended transfer or dismissal for unqualified or unproductive employees • Oversaw the handling of hazardous materials and the shipments of international packages • Facilitated domestic transportation • Responsible for determining contract renewals and updating and establishing the terms of existing contracts with contractors
