Daily Duties at Mixon Construction Company:
I was originally contracted to computerize the mortgage company accounting during my senior year as an undergraduate in 1985. Upon graduation I was offered full time employment and offered the opportunity to learn the commercial and residential development & construction business, as well as the management & acquisition of large land tracts Mixon's direct supervision. Mixon continually challenged me and expanded my knowledge base on as I was given more and more responsibility and eventually placed in charge of new project and start-up operations. AS my role expanded I was afforded the opportunity to expand my earning potential by taking on responsibilities such as Broker-In-Charge of the real estate concern. When I began full-time employment the Mixon conglomerate's net worth was approx $3.5 mil. When I left in June of 1996 said net worth was in excess of $9 mil. These figures do not include the real property that MIxon maintained in inventory with no intention of developing or assets that were acquired for his personal use ie.1986 Rolls Royce Corniche Convertible $325K.
