Daily Duties at Gaillardia Country Club :

General Management of the club and employees. Managed the day to day operation of the club, oversaw all pricing, membership plan, strategic plan, financial plans. Created the renovation plan for the golf course, fitness center, and clubhouse interior including bar and restaurant overhaul. Analyzed the daily cash balance as well as A/R and daily sales and revenue reports. Responsible for weekly variance or forecasting reporting to ownership Worked with banks and lenders in securing credit for the club Negotiated contracts for equipment, lease agreements, purchase of equipment, golf carts, food service, etc. My job was to reduce the annual deficit and achieve a break even club operation in less than 24 months. I managed the department management team on a daily basis, met with member prospects, attended civic functions in the role of business development selling memberships as well as real estate.
