Led treasury group that managed company-wide unsecured debt, bank deposits, and global excess cash portfolio, including structuring and execution of all transactions. Responsible for ensuring Amex businesses had sufficient liquidity in any environment. Key contributor to Amex’s ability to continuously finance its businesses during 2008-2009 financial crisis.
