Daily Duties at Jones Lang La Salle:
Vice President 2009-2014 • Subject matter expert (SME) and lead for new account transition/services implementation for occupancy programs, including process documentation, implementation, and staffing. Working with new account teams with recruiting, on-boarding, management, and training for new staff to ensure seamless transition and operations. • Completed account reviews to provide strategy to improve process and slashed costs to meet client needs. These changes include developing and implementing industry best practices, process updates, change management, technology improvements, and staffing changes to maximize profit and client satisfaction. • Overall P&L management and accountability, including budget and reforecast, contract management, SOX compliance, invoicing, A/R, A/P, and monthly variance and analytics. • Provide insight for new business development and sales, improvement to process, KPI metrics/analysis, and use tools and technology to ensure consistent service delivery across the Americas platform. Vice President/Finance Director 2008-2009 • Finance lead for the New England Market, with primary lines of business: leasing brokerage (tenant representation and agency), property management, project management, construction and capital markets. • Manage business units with annual revenues of approximately $155M in New England. • Oversee clients with contracts up to $50M. • Act as a key advisor to the Regional Manager and members of the executive management teams in running the business to achieve desired business goals and strategic initiatives. Regional Operations Manager 2005-2008 Finance • Prepare and manage two multi-million dollar budgets simultaneously including reviewing, adjusting, re-forecasting and monitoring spending activity. • Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements and provide analysis on revenue, schedules, labor reports and expense review. Contribute to the completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly audit work papers. • Ensure compliance with SOX internal control procedures. Produce and analyze variance reports and performance metrics for business operations management teams. Operations • Develop internal controls with management staff. Create self-service technical training on modules that include sexual harassment, reporting structures, recording billable hours, submitting expenses and creating and managing contracts. • Collaborate with the management team on the development of fee structure, proposals, pricing models and contract review. Work with the legal team on reviewing contracts for liability risk mitigation. • Determine return on investment for marketing programs and work with management on program improvements and reduction in order to increase business units overall revenue. • Instrumental in two major acquisitions: Spalding & Slye and The Staubach Company. Responsible for over $100M in assets.
