Daily Duties at Evergreen Valley College:
Provided leadership, vision, and supervision toward the development and delivery of academic, CTE, and transfer programs and services; Provided leadership for assigned programs and services, transfer advising, including online education, and participates in college wide shared governance efforts; Co-facilitated the college enrollment efforts, developed and supported services to enhance student engagement, and implemented strategies for student success; Worked with faculty, staff, and administration to ensure compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 5and the Western Association and Colleges Accrediting Commission for Community Colleges; Served as the Co-Chair of the Accreditation Steering Committee; Oversaw the selection, supervision, and evaluation of faculty and staff; developed and maintain strong working relationships with the local businesses and industry partners who served on advisory committees; Prepared class schedules, the college catalogue, and district-wide publications; provided leadership and support for the use of distance learning across all career and technical education disciplines; Prepared and administered annual budgets for federal and state grants; Generates partnerships with local K-12 schools, other colleges and universities, and business and industry to meet the needs of students, the community, and business and industry.
