Daily Duties at University Of Toledo:

 Spearheads goal development, project prioritization and solution implementation while leading 37 employees and 14 direct reports and serves as part of an integral team that provides support services to the VP of Administration.  Manages a $10MM department budget for maintenance of structures, facilities, and infrastructure systems on the Health Science Campus and allocates funds for capital projects that range from $5MM to $10MM.  Champions timely response to issues on completion of construction projects, facility maintenance and services and maintain the campus environment in strict accordance with Joint Commission, CMS, Ohio Department of Health, and the state and local building authority.  Evaluates suppliers based on cost, quality service and reliability; analyzes service contracts and negotiates with the vendors on materials pricing and shipping based on the power of quantity discounts.  Supervises the operations of the Biomedical Team of technicians on technical repairs and ensures strict compliance with product quality assurance, equipment and procedural standards and health and safety protocols.
