Provide evidence-based nursing care in family centered care model Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes Assess, diagnose, plan and implement appropriate interventions. Administer and monitor medications including chemotherapy Educate newly diagnosed Diabetic and oncology patients Accurately document information in the electronic medical record. Educate and counsel patients and families on disease management and care. Possess knowledge and problem-solving abilities for a broad range of patient diagnoses Select appropriate department referrals Ensure patient safety Charge nurse responsibilities Team with non-licensed personnel to maintain quality care mentor and resource new nurses and employees
