Daily Duties at Akimeka:

Hired as a technical writer for this .NET program, and role was quickly expanded to provide quality assurance, requirements development, and project management best practices to the team. After implementing an Agile approach using iterative development techniques, the project went from multiple failures and customer rejection based on changing, non-documented requirements, to a QA process, requirements development, and an iterative development schedule to ultimately meet the objectives of the project and the expectations of the customer. - Within six weeks of hire, reduced defect backlog 75% by implementing a QA process - Identified and mitigated lack of project requirements by working with the customer and the development team - Led three person project team and worked directly with primary stakeholder to redesign Graphical User Interface - Successfully led and participated in two Government Acceptance Testing reviews - Worked with all stakeholders to develop and manage a timeline acceptable to all - Produced all system documentation including online help, CONOPS, DBDD, SRS, FDD, IDD, and SDD
