• Trained Animal Health Care staff on related procedures for future GLP status • Write, revise, review and approve SOPs for the animal facility • Aided in the process for AALAC pre-approval and accreditation of the animal facility • Technical advisor for company and subtenant IACUC • Perform aseptic techniques for cell culture work (CHO cell lines and chondrocytes) • Developed assays for antibody discovery and development • Performed ELISAs and Western Blots for antibody characterization • Experienced for use of various columns for protein expression and purification • Processed samples for genotyping using PCR, gel electrophoresis • Developed, performed and provide training of surgery models in small animals • Performed and trained others on various dosing and blood draw procedures on rodents (IP, IM, SQ, IV) • Maintained breeding colonies of knockout mice including duties related to weaning and genotyping • Performed duties as acting “veterinary technician” for the company and multiple subtenants
