Daily Duties at Capital Regional Medical Center:
Performed, interpreted, and reported tests profiles related to Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Microbiology, Serology, and Specimen receiving and processing. o Supervised 2 techs and 2 phlebotomists on daily basis and early morning additional staff of about 3 additional techs and 6 phlebotomists. o Performed quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting to assure quality performance of instruments. o Verified analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and references ranges for test methods. o Assisted in preparation of healthcare regulatory reports, preparation of CAP documentation for filing, and preparing for all regulatory and accreditation related inspections. o Resolved problems, issues, and concerns by determining root cause of laboratory procedures and productivity issues. o Developed strategic plan for troubleshooting problems related methods and techniques applied by the employees and students of the laboratory. o Implemented policies and procedures to present highest level of safe quality products/services to clients of healthcare industry
