Daily Duties at Lab Corp:

Filled in at bench for routine, stat, and urgent testing on a daily basis. Performed Hematology, Urinalysis, and coagulation profiles, Stat test related to Chemistry profiles; maintain hematology and urinalysis task related instruments, such as LH750, GENS, IRIS, ATLAS, etc. o Processed specimens, prepared reagents, performed testing procedures; prepared reports, and interpreted test results. o Performed quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting to assure quality performance of instruments. o Verified analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and references ranges for test methods. o Served as a consultant to medical laboratory aids and phlebotomists as needed. o Managed weekend and nightshift laboratory operations in the absence of supervisor and weekend manager. o Resolved problems, issues, and concerns by determining root cause of laboratory procedures and productivity issues. o Developed strategic plan for troubleshooting problems related methods and techniques applied by the employees and students of the laboratory. o Implemented policies and procedures to present highest level of safe quality products/services to clients of healthcare industry.
