Daily Duties at Cvs:

Retail pharmacist position as a full time staff pharmacist with full responsibilities managing day to day running of a high volume (3000 scripts/day) pharmacy and at least 6 or more technicians, cashiers, and drive thru. Additional responsibilities involved narcotic drug, control drug, and non-scheduled drug ordering, inventory, record keeping, and other tasks to remain state of the art and in compliance with state and federal laws. Also ran and maintained a robotics system dispensing the pharmacies top 100 fast moving drugs. Excellent interaction and counseling skills are a primary focus and constantly evolving. In addition, I was staff pharmacist at a newer store for 9 months which required strong people skills such that our prescription volume rose from 1100 to 1200 rx’s in the time I was working there. We also led the district (15+ stores) in customer service evaluations, improvement in rx volume, refill stat etc. Before I joined the team, they were 2nd to 4th in this area, and I helped bring it to its current #1 position in CVS district rankings.
