Technical Buyer Birmingham, AL 9/2002 –2/2004 Responsible for the purchase of all IT related equipment, software licenses, break fix parts and supplies, contracts and capital equipment needs for three hospitals and nine physician clinics. • Served as the systems administrator for Infinium Software modules to include application manager, cross application, inventory control, purchase management and accounts payables. • Processed all capital equipment purchases for three hospitals and nine physician clinics. • Expedited all orders and coordinated delivery of equipment and supplies for expansion projects and construction needs. • Managed and updated all financial acquisition logs for proper budget distribution for the finance and IT departments. • Authored IT solution recommendations for the entire Eastern Health System and provided IT related supply and equipment quotes for all departments based on standards set by the IT department. • Handled daily orders for technical supplies and equipment, and assist in other areas as deemed necessary to include, warehouse duties, shipping, receiving, invoice processing, accounts payable.
