Daily Duties at Us Army:
Battery Commander for PATRIOT Air Defense Battalion in Germany Led 85 person team in Europe providing air defense support for 42,000 person Corps, employing and maintaining 50 vehicles and equipment worth $50 million. • Planned and executed deployment and redeployment of 71 soldiers and over $100 million in equipment to Israel for 5 months in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM; resulted in 100% successful deployment. • Led 250-person US/Israeli (IS) team providing continuous air defense coverage for State of Israel; unit and base camp cited as example of international partnership by US/IS Joint Task Force Commanders. Senior Battalion Tactical Director: Led 25 person team in Europe planning air defense operation, training, and evaluations for 700 person air defense battalion, employing and maintaining 10 vehicles and equipment worth $7 million. Led 180-person emergency operations center team. • Designed and implemented first ever US/Polish integrated air defense system during Exercise Victory Strike that provided “World Class” opposing force for aircraft and helicopters during Corps deep strike evaluation. • Planned and executed Middle East air defense training; resulted in successful mission to Israel. Platoon Leader: Led 20 person team in Europe providing fire control training and support for 85 person air defense battery with vehicles and equipment worth $22 million. • Executed no-notice deployment to Israel in support of Operations DESERT FOX and SHINING PRESENCE that resulted in establishing first-ever combined tactical ballistic defense of State of Israel. • Led team that achieved “Best” National Training Center and NATO Evaluation in 10 years and “Excellent” ratings from NATO evaluators for air defense crew and individual performance.
