Daily Duties at Delaware North:

As the Director of Operations and Maintenance I reported directly to the CEO, and managed a $8.7M annual operations and a $30M annual capital and IWQ project budget, for the maintenance, modifications and up grades in a theme park environment consisting of 10 complexes with 37 buildings, rides, and their sub-systems. Responsibilities included the scheduling and implementation of modification projects and daily maintenance operations for structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and their sub-systems, for theme park style - rides, shows, exhibits, restaurants, kitchens, cafeterias, Bus fleet, roads and grounds, all designed to improve the guest experience, and minimizing disruption of daily operations. Additional responsibilities included capital project planning, construction & modification project management, content management, exhibit collections and maintenance, database systems, work procedure development, and the development and implementation of the Enterprise Asset Management System. prepared department annual operations and project budgets, financial forecasts, long term cost and budget plans, project design and implementation, and labor costs/management, for daily operations IWQ and capital programs. Managed the care and maintenance of historical exhibits and artifacts valued at over 13.2 Billion. Developed and managed the programs process, project development functions, project and contract approvals, and implementation. Served as technical representative to promote effective cooperation between the company and our customers. Oversaw and coordinated OSHA, Safety and Environmental Management policies and programs.
