Daily Duties at Raytheon:
• Manage engineering and manufacturing departments consisting of: o Production services for a low volume/high mix manufacturing and repair operation consisting of supervisors and production associates in the areas of metal fabrication, wire harness and electronics chassis assembly, prep and coating functional areas. o Operations Excellence group responsible for development and certification of special processes, conducting lean/5S events, and process improvements. o Engineering team consisting of systems, mechanical and electrical engineering responsible for development of radar training devices and custom test equipment. o Test engineering group consisting of engineers and technicians responsible for development of test capabilities and performance of test and repair operations for a variety of complex Radar assemblies and subassemblies including high-voltage modulator power supplies, converters, inverters, RF/microwave components, and data storage devices. • Provide engineering leadership, including business development and growth, staffing and retention, and career development. Ensure work performed is done on schedule, on budget, and right the first time; provide enabling tools and processes for effective and efficient execution of technical work.
