Emotional and Behavioral Intervention Specialist • Serve as a liaison between South East Consortium of Special Education (SELPA) and eleven surrounding school districts focusing on students at risk of being placed in a more restrictive environment. • Serve in a consultative role with designated school personnel to offer prevention and intervention strategies regarding student behavior. • Adhered to laws and education regulations regarding students with special needs. • Produced monthly student entrance/exit activity reports. • Developed and delivered enthusiastic, educational presentations to school personnel and parents. • Implemented Young Leaders (social skills curriculum) Gilroy Unified School District, Milpitas Unified School District, and Alum Rock Unified School District. • Implemented KidStars (social skills curriculum) Berryessa Union School District and Milpitas Unified School District. • Implemented Zones of Regulation (social thinking curriculum) Oak Grove School District.
