Daily Duties at Massachusetts General Hospital:

• Greet all patients/visitors to the clinic • Support 13 psychologists and clinical fellows • Responsible for timely phone and email interactions, including conducting intake referrals by phone • Input all patients and other practice information into IDX • Confirm all patient insurance and authorization validity • Provide each patient with required paperwork and communicate all detailed information to each patient regarding our services • Responsible for dissemination of information on established hospital and department policies, procedures, and programs, as required. Maintains accurate and up to date files, records and documents • Collect and reconcile all co-payments • Responsible for all aspects of scheduling appointments (track arrive time, no show and cancellations), follow-up with patients to be rescheduled. • Maintain records of insurance authorizations in IDX and OPIS • Participate in monthly support staff meetings
