Daily Duties at The Orthotic Center, Inc :
• Built innovative production processes from scratch for a cutting-edge development of orthotic and prosthetic products. • Formulated a comprehensive business plan complete with clear and actionable sales goals and targets. • Evaluate and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including chronic and acute pain, joint dislocation, joint subluxation, joint contractures, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, CVA, neuropathies, dementia, osteoporosis, scoliosis, kyphosis, hypertonicity, hypotonicity and other musculoskeletal diseases. • Facilitate ADLs and assist patients with functional mobility to increase comfort and quality of life. • Educate patients and family members regarding diagnosis, injury prevention and therapeutic treatments. • Design treatment programs to restore, improve physical functioning, alleviate pain and retard disability. • Assist patients with physical movements to help restore function and lessen pain and disability. • Identify and document patient goals, evaluate progress and plan re-evaluation. • Develop preventive care protocols. • In response to a request from Children's Hospital, I oversaw the development of a Total Body Orthotic System
