Daily Duties at Genuity Solutions:
-Interface with internal teams and external entities to activate Sonet/SDH data circuits. Clients were mainly comprised of telecom entities. -Engaged internal teams, some of which included, Order Mgmt and Circuit Designers to ensure circuit layout records were successfully created, design mapping was complete, and circuit was at the stage to enter testing. -Worked with field personnel and external customers ensuring circuit was installed and continuity was available from A - Z locations. -Installed new product (E1 and STM) on transport network by troubleshooting SDH equipment, engaging Undersea Cable Administrators, field technicians, and customer technician to activate and establish continuity across the circuit. -Sectionalized circuit activations utilizing Transport Equipment, Alarms, and Field Personnel to determine source of circuit anomaly -Communicated verbal/written pre/post activation, with external customers to provide answers to circuit performance questions and general questions related to service
