Daily Duties at Life Well Lived Services:
Responsible for the oversight of an agency that serves Developmentally Disabled adults. Agency of 55 employees encompasses multiple counties consisting of host homes, group homes and one training center serving 30 individuals. Agency specializes in behaviorally challenging individuals. • Creating a new culture and building senior management • Supervising Human Resources, Operations, Finance, Clinical Programs, Case Management, Utilization Review and Quality Improvement Departments • Setting a strategy and a vision for expansion Developed budgets and projections for over 40 reporting units Established business plan with leadership team Monitored contractual deliverable outcomes daily Ensured accuracy of billing and high productivity of employees Successfully navigated Medicaid/GMCF audits with minimal paybacks Preparing team through CARF survey Constructed two new group homes Developed and monitored quality improvement benchmarks Developed interagency community partners, and numerous outreach projects • Established a DD New Employee Orientation with best practice curricula • Agency DDP and include the duties specific to that "as outlined in DBHDD policy" • Increased quality ratings within the first three months: decreased medication errors, reduced turnover rate, and increased documentation compliance. • Assuring compliance to internal and external regulations • Adhering to the direction of the board • Expanded day programming and community based services to include Prevocational and Supported Employment Services
