Daily Duties at Valley Women's Center:
Provide case management and individual counseling to victims of domestic violence, clients with substance and at risk abuse history and emotional disorders. Perform intakes and assessments of adults and families for purposes of diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide individual counseling based on diagnosis and treatment goals and assist clients in removing barriers. Prepare short term and long term treatment goals for adults and families. Provide short term crisis intervention counseling to adults and families. Facilitates domestic violence support groups, parenting classes and substance abuse groups. Prepare progress notes after each session and update treatment plans every 30 days. Meet with supervisor and team and present case treatment interventions and plans at weekly meetings. Make changes based on feedback
