Daily Duties at Statesville Housing (Troutman Elementary):

• Facilitating learning of 4th and 5th year at risk students using Common Core Standards including multi- cultural instruction, Response to Intervention, Cooperative learning, differentiated instruction and interactive exercises. • Established acceptable classroom behavior guide with student, addressing behavioral issues. • Discuss student learning and behavior improvement in class with parent, main teacher and counselor. • Utilized many student-centered learning techniques demonstrations, molecular model building and learning centers. • Developed, wrote, plan and executed lesson plans according to the Common Core Standards. • Work with At-Risk student, and English learners, providing learning interventions, development, and motivational strategies. • Assess student’s educational needs, provide educational support to main teacher, provide direct instruction to student’s, establish education objective for each child, help student’s identify effective learning strategies and develop tools to apply them, and assists students in strengthening their study skills. • Maintain student records, which included tests results, educational plan and progress report.
