Daily Duties at Bpg Development Company, L.P.:

Responsible for the development of a 34 acre site and construction of the first of twelve buildings. Conceptually estimated, competitively bid, procured and managed the construction services to construct a $15 million, 70,000 square foot office building and call center in 12 months. Competitively bid a 200,000 square foot, mid-rise, proposed LEED Silver and smart technology building with a base cost of $22 million; oversaw the project from site acquisition through steel "top-out". Managed the design development, contract document and bid process for two retail buildings totaling 120,000 square feet with a core and shell cost of $18 million. Supervised the design development process for a mid-rise, luxury hotel. Conducted the application, easement and engineering process for all site utilities for a 101 acre fully integrated mixed-use development. Analyzed projects using BOMA calculations and cost per square foot; evaluated current project versus recent projects, along with regional trends in construction industry. Responsible for developing a bimonthly executive summary based on cost analysis projections of current projects; presented information to the development executives and asset managers to evaluate the viability of the project in the current market. New construction and tenant improvement projects demanded a strong focus in pre-construction, cost analysis and Value Engineering. Contributed to the professional development of junior and entry level employees.
