Daily Duties at Advantage Technical Resourcing :
SAN Team member for HP at the a Government Client. SME, Engineer and M&O of 5PB in a tiered enterprise environment. Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design, installation, and management of multiple SAN sites / Divisions / Storage Clouds. Installation, Configuration and Management of multiple Brocade Network Advisor installations. Configures and certifies Enterprise SANs consisting of IBM SVC, HP 3PAR, EVA, MSA, EML, ESL,VLS and MSL storage solutions and support software associated with the SAN (Multi-Pathing, SAN Management, Switch Management, Tape Management and Backup, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, continuity of Business) at various client sites. Brocade Fabric Engineer on Enterprise deployment of DCX and IBM / Brocade Chassis SAN Switches.. Configure HBAs and HBA Management software on various operating systems. Maintain, install and verify FOS (Fabric Operating Systems), HBA Drivers and Firmware and Management software to required revisions. Provides advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting of Enterprise SAN environments. Provides knowledge transfer to IT personnel in the management and support of SAN solutions; detailed documentation sets to clients using various software tools; and support and guidance to junior team members. Provides field training to new personnel for the HP storage Implementation Practice. Implements and develops Disaster Recovery solutions. COOP (Continuity Of Operations Planning) Data replication, Extended Clusters, Extended Storage solution. Disaster Tolerant solutions. Data Migrations on Windows and Lunix platforms. Migration of data, databases and flat files on various disk File systems. Block level replication of disks using various applications and services.
