Daily Duties at Labcorp:
• Responsible for 7 Operational Managers and the day to day functions of those departments. (36 Supervisors, 40 Team Leads and 600 employees) • Daily operational review of inventory and contingency plans. Lead the improvement of process efficiencies through the development of diagnostic metrics and guidelines for corrective actions. • Actively engage with the management of the Operational functions to drive performance and the strategic initiatives of the department. Work with regional/divisional teams to provide information and analysis that supports Billing OPS thresholds as well as assist Managers in development of corrective action plans to address performance shortfalls. • Create and establish meaningful metrics surrounding key initiatives that support the department and company strategy. • Coordinate the consolidation, analysis and reporting of tracking tools and Operations performance metrics. • Serve as the subject matter expert for Operations in a broader corporate effort to create more robust processes for forecasting, target setting, quantifying opportunities and development of annual operating plans. • Ensure that the Front End department meets established goals. • Use Operational Metrics data to empirically determine best practices to be mandated by Operations. Work with management to lead the implementation and standardization of identified best practices. • Responsible for the quality, production and SOP’s for Front-End Billing. • Work with The Learning Center on developing classes to improve staff’s quality and productivity. • Monitor overtime and request for overtime as needed within budget guidelines • Explain and implement process improvements that will in turn improve write offs and cash factor • Possess understanding of DSO, have/need, cash factor and bad debt • Track FTE needs based on receipts, inventory and labor hours
