Daily Duties at Allegiance Healthcare, Inc.:

Supervised eight (8) microbiology technicians in product dose determination qualifications, dose auditing, and bioburden analysis. Establish performance objectives/reviews for assessing technicians. Maintained the department budget for technicians and testing. Manage and evaluate environmental conditions of six (6) manufacturing facilities in El Paso, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Develop conceptual strategies to solve issues and coordinate laboratory support for Mexicali, Chicago, France, Japan and Malaysia. Prepare results for written and oral presentations to corporate level management. Manage departmental budgets to include salaries, contractual services for calibrate/maintain/repair equipment, and submit CPA’s for new equipment purchases, and purchasing laboratory supplies. Accountable for writing and enforcing 23 Standard Operating Procedures with AAMI/ISO/EN standards, FDA Regulations and the Medical Device Directive.
