Daily Duties at Marine Security Guard (Usmc):
Tasked with the prevention of compromise to classified material, classified equipment and to provide protection for U.S. citizens and U.S. property. Worked closely with the Department of State (Diplomatic Security Service and other federal agencies). Managed and guided 12 subordinates in conducting various administrative and operational duties. Conducted site security inspections, evaluating potential terrorist threats of interior and exterior points at Embassy locations. Researched, procured, tracked, and implemented needed first responder and security upgrades as deemed necessary after inspections. Planned, coordinated, and executed class training sessions covering a wide variety of disciplines, such as operational security, first-aid refresher courses and safeguarding classified material. 24 hour unannounced response/Tactical Drills (to include Searching for Bombs, Intruder Containment, Internal Defense, fire prevention, and Nuclear, Biological and Chemical emergencies). Participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom
