Manager of all processes related to the development and continuous improvement of the tax department for EGS Electrical Group, (EGS) and subsidiaries for all taxes, including: federal and state income taxes, sales and use taxes, international taxes, and accounting for income taxes. Continually identifying, reviewing, and advising upper management on current tax issues relevant to the organization. Developed and using collaborative relationships to facilitate the organizational and individual goal of cash tax savings. Lead and manage all internal and external audits related to tax - including negotiation with outside auditors to minimize tax liability and exposure to the organization. Authority to make all tax related decisions for EGS (including preparation of tax returns) with final approval by the CFO. Facilitate customer satisfaction and maintain legal compliance by developing and documenting the sales and use tax processes by working with various management teams within the organization.
