Daily Duties at Naval Air Systems Command (Navair):
Team lead for the Harpoon Block II+ (HII+) Abbreviated Acquisition Program. HII+ is an upgrade to the U.S. Navy’s inventory of Harpoon missiles via a Sales and Exchange Agreement (SEA) with the prime contractor. The HII+ program brings increased target selectivity and weapon survivability to the war fighter without expending appropriated dollars by exchanging U.S. Navy Harpoon missile components for HII+ upgrade kits. Responsible for program scope, cost and schedule. Responsible for developing and awarding a $140M contract vehicle with prime contractor, facilitating a $45M commercial services agreement between the prime and the Government, and developing a sophisticated cost tracking database.
