As technical liaison between Sales and Products, led high-profile, high-risk projects designed by C-level management and updated key Board members regarding Borland’s internal workings. Defined methods for rejuvenating long-standing products for longer product life cycle and performed light prototypes and proof-of-concepts for interface functionality and implementation details, including architecture diagrams and layouts, market analysis, marketing requirements documents, and product requirements documents. Maintained responsibility for defining technical architecture and ensuring interoperability among all Company’s products and solutions. Reviewed multiple product lines to ensure proposed functionality “fit” in marketplace and made recommendations to add, delete or change products’ focus. Granted media interviews, presented at industry conferences, and delivered speeches in EMEA, Asia, and Latin America.
