Daily Duties at Micron Technology:
Integral in startup of new manufacturing plant including product introduction, cost reduction, production planning (including capacity, inventory and logistics), tool layout, and product flow analysis for maximum efficiency. Managed teams of up to 13 engineers and technicians through daily workforce priorities and career development as well as integrating production and engineering teams to form a more cohesive, high performance group. Implemented requirements for ISO-TS 16949 and held annual internal and external audits. Worked closely with vendors, customers and facilities personnel in a multi-cultural environment to resolve production constraints and remove bottle-necks in the process flow to maintain maximum productivity and lower cost. Leader and member of several different area, company and inter-company action teams dedicated to continuous improvement projects, ideas and implementation, quality improvement and standardization including Lean Manufacturing efforts.
