• System Integration, Test & Evaluation of the (E 911) Emergency Communications Transformation Program (ECTP) for the City of New York Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT). • As a test lead, performed System Integration Test and Test management based on Vendor/Client artifacts review for the E911 Emergency Call Taker and Dispatch for the City of New York that encompasses the whole of the five boroughs of the City. • Generated System/Component requirements traceability, Resource management of test teams and allocated assignments at Client Site. • Developed detailed test plans, procedures and scripts for testing the E-911 infrastructure, using the Vesta NMS embedded system & NICE Inform call recorder. • Developed detailed (Call Taker, Call Taker Supervisor, Call Taker with ERS, DARP, Dispatch & Dispatch Supervisor Positions, PAR, Call Taker with 6-Wire, EMS Liaison and Platoon Commander Assistant) test plans, procedures and scripts for testing the E-911 infrastructure, using the Sprint PComm and Mapstar to determine the ANI/ALI (PSTN/WIRELESS/VOIP) of E-911 Caller on the NYPD ECTP, FDNY, and EMS platforms for seamless call transformation and Synergy. • Defined customer/Vendor support and resource allocation requirements with team members and Vendor/Client. • Developed detailed test cases for Functional Capability Audit (FCA), Alarm Reporting, Dispatch Call Taker (ARD), ARD Call Taker Supervisor, Silent Hawk, Star Fire, Computer Aided Dispatch & Dispatch Supervisor Positions, ARD Relay Dispatcher. • Managed test exercises at the Client site (PSAC1 & 1Police Plaza) for the Call taker, Call taker Supervisor, Platoon Commander Assistant and trouble-shot any emergent issues before escalation to upper management for Functional (FCA) and “Thread” tests as the Lead Project/QA Engineer on site. • Trained and mentored junior Engineers and NGC Technical staff on the E 911 Emergency Call System. • Performed “Cross - Site” and “Cross - Platform” (End-to-End) FCA tests between NYPD and FDNY platforms from 1 Police Plaza (1PP) in NY, NY to PSAC1 (Metro-Tech) in Brooklyn. • Technologies: VOIP, Wireless, Mapstar, UNIX, Sprint PComm, Integration Testing, E-911, Vesta NMS, NICE Inform • Developed, Designed and Wrote sections of the Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) Document for the NYCWiN Project (Radio Node Construction; Radio Node Site Integration; Class Device Installation; Central Network Equipment Testing; System Interconnection with CityNet Testing; Class Acceptance and System Availability and Reliability testing). • Wrote System Availability/Operational Reliability Requirements and test cases for the failover (Redundancy) capability and Content Level Delivery (CDL) of the NOC-A and NOC-B Network infrastructures during scheduled/unscheduled maintenance (Disaster Recovery) at a specified percentage time limit over a given period. • Wrote and verified Content Level test cases (CDL) for data Network Reliability/Replication test cases during and after failover operation. • Wrote the Test Plan, reviewed and project-managed the test execution for the New York Housing Authority (NYCHA) Hand-Held Device software. • Coordinated the testing of the NYCWiN Access Management software utility on AGILE Network schema. • Lead Senior Test Engineer for the R-99 migration to SOC-3 (E-R7) platform. • Designed the stacking method for the SOC-3 Prototype Modem modules to be used in the Test Laboratory. • Defined, developed and implemented Test Engineering strategies which contributed to strategic directions within the Project SOW (Statements of Work). • Wrote and executed test cases Using NetCool network management utility with SNMP protocols; used and interpreted Visio drawings, managed tests and supervised the execution of other Physical and Logical tests for the Security Protocols surrounding the NOC-A and NOC-B and their Operations Centers under the IPv4 and IPv6 protocol guidance. • Evaluated customer test strategies and recommended appropriate test solutions to support customer requests. • Performed Integration Unit Tests and wrote Test Cases in conjunction with the Development team (in Sterling Virginia), for the Network Management Applications using Remedy NMS (Remedy Asset Management; Remedy Service Desk; Remedy Change Management; Remedy Service Level Management; BLADE Network Manager/Monitor; Windows Active Directory; DNS Server; VERITAS NetBackup Enterprise). • Performed Integration Unit Tests and Test Management as well as Site Test Supervision for the NOC-A and NOC-B Management Processes, Radio User Provisioning, Network Authentication, Fault Management, Performance Monitoring, CISCO Access Registrar Provisioning and QoS using Remedy/HPOVU. • Supervised the Test execution Phase of the NYCWiN Applications Acceptance Test for the Class Applications (Class 1: Wireless Broadband Public Safety; Class 2: Wireless Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL); Class 3: Wireless (VOIP) Call Boxes for Emergency (911) Services and Class 4: Wireless Traffic Signal Control) ATP section of the Project, in conjunction with the System Engineers and Developers, on the NOC platform. • Took part in the (Deputy Program Managers) project meetings for the ATP review at the Client Site (DoITT) with respect to the Product Life Cycle and Deployment as well as Commissioning of the product. • Wrote and executed Test cases for Remote Monitoring of non-SNMP network elements and environmental conditions (such as temperature, humidity, security, and power) contact closure inputs, analog inputs, and serial ports (ASCII Serial Alarm Monitoring) using IMCI-Open-iNMS. • Wrote and executed test cases for Remote Management of network elements by using each element’s specific management application via an RS-232 serial connection, TCP/IP and Serial Pass-Through Mode (also known as Virtual Serial Bridge). • Technologies: Acceptance Test Procedure, UNIX, SOC3, Change Management, Test case writing, Remedy NMS, Product Development Life Cycle, TCP/IP
