Daily Duties at United States Cadet Command And Los Angeles Unified School District:

Managed and conducted the JROTC unit according to school rules, regulations, and policies. Advised school authorities on policy and regulation changes. Maintained good relations with school authorities, faculty, and the student body. Conducted public affairs effort in the local area middle and elementary schools, among school and community officials, civic groups, parent-teacher groups and other individuals or groups, designed to further the understanding of JROTC, the school and the Army. Enrolled students in JROTC and support school officials while executing the curriculum and the integrated extra-curricular activities. Prepared weekly training schedules. Maintained contact with parents of all Cadets experiencing academic or behavioral problems. Taught all senior level classes. Conducted conflict resolution and change management when needed within the program and among students and faculty.
