DERMATOLOGY GROUP OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, INC. (DGSC), Torrance, CA 2008 – Present A premier, leading multimillion-dollar medical group serving South Bay community for over 20 years. CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER DGSC was facing multiple challenges in 2008 from the economic downturn. These included increased competition, decreased reimbursement, poor employee morale, and outdated systems of delivery, as well as ineffective marketing and financial planning. Developed and implemented strategic business plan that successfully turned around operations, rebuilt infrastructure and set company on path to growth. Directed clinical operations and administration that included cost management, budgeting, financial management, marketing and HR initiatives, as well renegotiation of insurance and physician contracts. Identified and hired new physicians, and invested in technology. Promoted employee education.
