Daily Duties at Assam Distribution Company Ltd:

 Led a Team of 30 members working to optimize the revenue generation based on billing of metered data of energy usage by around 17000 meters at consumers’ premises.  Acted as a single point of authority for all revenue related tasks of the sub-division, including, among others, record keeping of consumers’ electric usage and billing  Performed necessary software tasks to synchronize online payment to the manual payment history during APDCL’s initial phases of online bill payment implementation.  Conducted physical inspection for connecting prospective consumers ‘electric utility meter to the distribution grid. Administered the necessary paperwork for the same.  Monitored the progress in construction of new feeder, commissioning of new transformer, load balancing in existing Distribution Transformer under different Govt. schemes.  Executed load shedding/outage schedule obtained using SCADA by State Level Dispatch Center.  Conducted regular load survey at consumer’s premises to check for any unauthorized load. In that process, educate customers about energy efficiency.  Worked extensively with Microsoft products to prepare various data sheets in order to log energy usage.  Imparting training to sub-ordinate staff and Engineering undergraduate students attending Summer Training.
