VP SALES & MARKETING Little Falls, MN || May 2011 – July 2011 Promoted for demonstrated success to further develop field sales staff, increase distribution and manage product development to accelerate sales growth and market share. • Refocused the firm’s market presence to include a more robust electronic presence; changed ad agencies to one more familiar with digital marketing and publicity. • Developed a fresh approach for Saltwater brands and initiated strategies, goals, and products for Triumph to enter the fresh water arena. Developed three new models that grew new inland/freshwater business at over a dozen dealers in the first year. • Played a key role in improving communication within the firm to integrate broader staff feedback and developed streamlined channels from company to dealer network to more rapidly address partner concerns. • Restored company to profitability within 90 days of commencing brand revitalization. DIRECTOR OF SALES & DEALER DEVELOPMENT Little Falls, MN || March 2010 – April 2011 Promoted for exceptional leadership during a Chapter 11 reorganization. Traveled extensively across the US to train Regional Sales Managers on products and provide mentorship on the nuanced prospecting work required to re-start the firm’s business. Hired five new Regional Sales Managers and re-aligned territories to maximize effectiveness. Concentrated on rebuilding the company’s brand and repositioning the firm within a highly competitive marketplace. • Signed 127 new dealers in the US, Canada, Europe and China. • Planned and executed an Open House in September that attracted approximately 175 people from existing and prospective dealerships, resulting in 679 units sold against objective of 3,100 units for the entire year, worth $24M+. REGIONAL SALES MANAGER, Larson Boats Columbus, OH || November 2008 – March 2010 Managed mid-west territory sales in 13 states. Realigned sales teams and led the region through a turbulent period during a Chapter 11 reorganization. • Signed five new dealers for Larson and six for FinCraft, representing an increase of $1M and $480K, respectively.
