Daily Duties at Siemens Plm :
Promoted by VP, Services. Consolidated five separate delivery teams into consulting services organization. Directed team of 40+ engineers, consultants, PM’s & architects implementing PLM/CAD/CAE product suite. Managed $18M revenue & $9.75M operational budget. • Maintained appropriate staffing levels coordinated recruiting, hiring, training, career development, motivating, allocating projects, sharing resources for optimal utilization, billability and revenue recognition. • Facilitated team meetings, individual consulting and coaching and yearly performance reviews to motivate team members and foster a cohesive work environment. • Negotiated with third party vendors, approving SOW’s, initiating purchase requisitions and managing contract process. • Communicated regularly with project managers and technical personnel to build effective cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and on time project delivery. • Addressed poor performance through Performance Improvement Plans, one on one consulting, organizational transfers and terminations. • Monitored the employee disciplinary process (including terminations) and consult with HR & Legal to ensure compliance with policy and with applicable state and federal laws.
