Daily Duties at Pall Corporation:

• Lead new technology development in the field of membrane separation technology based on zeolite and carbon molecular sieve membranes for various gas and vapor applications • Manage and own R&D technology projects using stage gate process. The work involves planning tasks, budgets and resources, implementing the work, managing resources and reporting project progress in a timely manner • Ensure that all laboratory/test practices comply with the safety policy & company standard • Supervise and guide technicians & engineers • Successfully work/collaborate in the cross-functional (e.g. research, process, engineering and marketing) and nationwide teams • Conceive, synthesize and characterize zeolite membrane and carbon molecular sieve membrane. • Design, plan and lead the construction of gas permeation test processes • Investigate and analyze transport data via porous materials • Designed, planned and lead the development of membrane reactor test system for water gas shift (WGS) reaction, and methanol reforming • Perform, investigate and analyze the efficiency of commercial catalyst for WGS and methanol reforming reactions • Assisted in the development of simulation to predict fluid transport via Pd alloy membrane and/or pilot scale module • Perform techno-economic process evaluation for membrane based technology per customer request, and to communicate results to marketing and customer
