Daily Duties at Texas Southern University:
Maintains daily work schedule for the Vice President and Provost. Coordinate all domestic and international travel arrangements including booking airfare, hotel and transportation for VP and guest. Assist President office as needed. Serve as corporate liaison between the finance, IT and marketing departments. Coordinate board and committee meetings, including schedules and information preparation and distribution. Coordinate, schedule and arrange meeting and travel calendars, including business and social events. Implement presentations, reports, and proposals. Reconcile office purchases, hotels receipts, catering, and travel expenses. Reconciled travel and procurement card. Screen applicant resumes and coordinate both phone and in-person interviews. Greet callers. Make coffee for office guest. Assessed urgency and priorities before accepting or declining appointments and meetings with the VP. Manage and evaluate students and staff performance. Assist students and parents with various issues and concerns. Make sure everything stays in compliance with state regulations. Create detailed expense reports and requests for capital expenditures. Follow standard of ethics as provided by Professional Associations and Texas Southern University. Perform various other duties as assigned.
