Complete monthly closings for 45 entities, including reconciling all accrued liability accounts (21 accounts for each entity). Review and accrue $700,000 out-of-period, accounts-payable transactions each month and 74 bank account reconciliations. Effectively ensures that intercompany accounts are balanced. Managed monthly inventory item cost testing and quarterly inventory value adjustments. Consistently reviewed all junior accountant and accounting intern entries. Maintained the advertising invoice schedule, made sure that proper revenue recognition by entity and period was achieved and managed ad hoc projects, as needed.
