Daily Duties at Tek Systems / General Motors:

Joined the company as project manager and was promoted to a Senior Program Manager, as project manager was assigned to General Motors, global manufacturing and quality (GM&Q) group. Performed all functions of a project manager and became a SME in the area. As senior program manager, successfully put a team together to respond to GM’s GM&Q request for proposal (RFP) and was awarded the contract. Managed a multi vendor team of SME’s to develop GM’s 3rd generation outsourcing model for standardized work in conjunction with Carnegie Mellon software Engineering Institute (SEI). I managed an off-shore team that defined and modified GM’s System Delivery Methodology (SDP-21 v9.2). The project was selected to be reviewed and obtained CMMI level 3 certification. x
