Daily Duties at Tscs, Inc / Cms Energy:

As Program Manager, I apply intensive knowledge of PM principles and practices in broad areas of assignments; my duties included working with the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) and Portfolio Review Board (PRB) to obtain funds and approval for projects. Work with the demand management office (DMO) for resources. Make decision independently on activities, manage approved budget. Represent the department in meetings to resolve questions. Support 30 or more active projects, coach, mentor project managers and team leads, recommend usage of tools. Set priorities and manage risks. Conduct iteration planning meetings. Work closely with extended teams and ensure work items are analyzed efficiently. Remove roadblocks; act as first level of escalation. Coordinate with teams (development, sustain, infrastructure, portfolios areas). Participate in crisis calls. Support business service continuity, availability and capacity management. Provide feedback to vendor team manager on the resources on-site / offshore. Manage SLA's. Ensured status and reporting is appropriate for dashboard and executives. Participate in staff growth and development. Develop individual training plans for team. Coordinate and prioritize sustain work with the vendor team In my roles as senior project manager, prepared project charters and obtained approvals from the relevant stakeholders of the project, created project plans and schedules, documented and managed issues and risks; created repositories for project artifacts, conducted daily stand-up meetings, assigned tasks and activities to the team, managed project budget, prepared monthly forecast, participated in quality reviews, end of iteration review meetings and recap. Reviewed and accepted application deployment plans. I ensured completion of deliverables on time within budget.
