Daily Duties at Alliant Techsystems / R&D:
> Provided nvestigational gas chromatography analysis within the R&D laboratory. > Provided expertise in the "Fingerprinting" of assigned raw materials in support of NASA. Led technical teams to collect all analytical information and testing from all available resources and made recommendations of down selected test methods in a company report. > Prepared and/or updated all GC methods within Standard Laboratory Procedures (SLP's) for the Quality Control Lab. > Analyzed all industrial hygiene samples using gas chromatography techniques in accordance with OSHA and NIOSH methods. Laboratory accredited by AIHA for the testing of organics by GC. > Analyzed all customer supplied soil / water environmental samples using approved gas chromatography techniques in accordance with EPA methods. Laboratory state certified for Environmental testing by Utah. > Monitored SPC charts for out-of-tolerance conditions within the Nautilus LIMS database and coordinated with Procurement Quality Engineering. > Supported raw material testing of PHD driven research projects.
