anaged a large office of over 120 employees by assuring each employee adhered to job and attendance requirements and input all changes in the payroll/scheduling system. Responsible for managing industrial injuries, Workers Compensation claims, and Short Term Disability occurrences. Created new employee orientation materials. As Absence Administrator entered all attendance occurrences (FMLS/CFRA/PDL and chargeable) discussions held and discipline into Oracle based Absence Management Tracking System. Planned and lead meetings and ensembles for training, coaching opportunities, discipline and upper management interactions, using Outlook, Power-Point conference calling phone features. Performed monthly Attendance Audits, ran attendance reports and analyzed data in order to host upper management weekly attendance conference call . As Committee Chair of Safety managed Verizon Corporate Safety Plan for site, created and manage monthly safety meeting lessons, trained and lead Safety Committee members, Responsible for conducting and documenting quarterly building and office safety and environmental report per Verizon corporate standards and Governmental regulations, provided leadership in compliance with any OSHA regulations and inspection and assisted with the implementation of the Site Emergency Action Plan (SEAP). Used negotiation skills in Labor Grievances and Informal meetings with Union. Assured over 90 employee PC workstations functioned properly by performing simple diagnostic and repair procedures or consulting with IT personnel. Successfully oversaw office overhead of 120 – 165 employees for five years.
