Daily Duties at Electronic Data Systems:

Led Global Software Services Information Systems and Technology organization employing ITIL and ITSM foundations. Led transition from US-based IT support to off-shore IT organizations ($2M+). • Directed IT staff, managed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), Global Service Delivery and Project Management Office (PMO) for one of the largest healthcare pharmaceutical benefits management (PBM) companies, Express Scripts, Inc, supporting Windows, Solaris, HPUX, AIX, Linux. Built corporate mid-range computing infrastructure and provided 7x24x365 support for business critical client environments. Problem & change management, full root cause analysis and post-mortem. • Tivoli (TSM) backup and restore, Patrol (KM) system monitoring, capacity planning. • Full disaster recovery environment and bi-annual drill at SunGuard facility. • Led systems integration projects as client acquired new companies and grew lines of business. • Led re-engineering efforts through system and storage consolidation and virtualization (Solaris Containers, AIX Virtualization, EMC, VMware, Citrix) saving $5M in application, support and maintenance costs. • Supported various software and middleware applications; FileNet, SAP, Websphere, MQSeries, Apache, Asset Insight, media management, and complete disaster recovery environment. • Handled all vendor relationships with IBM, HP, SUN, Stratus, and EMC. Worked closely with executive leadership to drive projects and Information Technology initiatives. • Managed operating and capital budgets and financial forecasting/modeling ($15M+) Major Contributions: • Built mid-range operating environment and established 7x24x365 technical support infrastructure including design/support systems and software framework. • 23 direct reports and 26 matrix reports providing full Information Technology services, including full midrange, mainframe, network, storage and media operations. • Partnered with executives across the company and in global software services and PMO to meet operational goals. • Received Service Delivery award for establishing three business units and improving on service delivery targets.
