Daily Duties at Southern Care Hospice:

• Set up and managed patient charts and process Medicare and Medicaid paperwork for all incoming patients. Also responsible for legal paperwork, billing, and certs and recertifications utilizing Microsoft Office suite and proprietary programs. • Purchasing and inventory of all medically necessary supplies for patients • Reception and front office management including payroll for 23 employees • Extensive communication with caregivers, physicians, pharmacies, and team members to facilitate quality customer care • Participated in State and QAPI audits, weekly meetings, and continuous team care
